Alternative Therapies Group (ATG)
About
After the CCC authorized ATG to commence retail operations, the Salem dispensary opened for recreational sales Saturday, Dec. 15. In the hopes of avoiding the long lines and traffic issues that plagued the previous two recreational pot shops (and given its proximity to the Boston area), ATG is requiring customers to make an appointment on their website before visiting until further notice. While the store intends to eventually allow walk-ins, customers without an appointment will be turned away at the door.
Additionally, ATG’s parking lot is reserved for medical patients and handicap parking for the foreseeable future. Officials are encouraging recreational customers to take the MBTA commuter rail to the nearby station, bike, walk, or park in the limited number of spaces down the road on Harmony Grove Street or at the Universal Steel lot at 297 Bridge St. ATG will be running a free shuttle throughout the day, looping between the commuter rail station, the Bridge Street lot, and the dispensary. More details about transportation to ATG can be found on their website.
