Northeast Alternatives
About
The Fall River dispensary began recreational sales Sunday, Jan. 20. After initially requiring recreational marijuana customers to reserve their place in a “virtual line” — by either using the QLess mobile app or texting the letters “NEA” to (508) 687-5704 — Northeast Alternatives quickly began accepting walk-ins after opening, according to WPRI. However, Rich Rosier, the dispensary’s co-owner, told the outlet they may make the virtual queue mandatory on peak days.
Northeast Alternatives has imposed no additional limits on adult-use purchases, so customers can buy up to the state maximum of one ounce of flower or 5 grams of marijuana concentrate. Customers can pay in cash or use the dispensary’s cashless ATM to pay using a card.
